NursingABC's mission is to provide excellent academic preparation via convenient, interactive methods, to meet entrance prerequisites and continuing needs of applicants to health professions schools, with the goal of assisting those schools in training and admitting well-prepared applicants who will positively impact the medical community.
NursingABC admits students of any race, color, sex, religion, and national or ethnic origin to all of the rights and privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students in the program. NursingABC does not discriminate against students on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, handicap, and national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, or any other programs or services.
Withdrawal / Refund Policy
If you have made payment for a NursingABC course and then decide against taking the course, a $50 administrative fee will be charged and subtracted from the tuition refund. If you begin a course and complete two or more modules, or more than 30 days elapses, no tuition will be refunded.

Purposes of Schooling:
NursingABC provides quality academic preparation in high-school equivalent courses to students who can not easily obtain the appropriate instruction from a traditional institution. The aim of our programs is to build sound academic fundamentals that will increase students' confidence in their areas of deficiency, with the outcome of enabling students to advance their educational achievement and respective career goals.
Nature of the Learner:
NursingABC serves a diverse population of students who need particular academic courses and skills in order to continue their progress toward educational or career goals. Most of these students are current or prospective applicants to nursing programs who need prerequisite classes or remediation to meet admission requirements. We recognize that many of these students, though motivated, lack confidence in their ability to handle the required subject matter. Many are non-traditional students who are returning to the work force, currently are working another full-time job, have been removed from the academic arena for an extended time, and/or are uncomfortable taking the necessary courses in a traditional environment. Recognizing the unique pressures and commitments of our students' lifestyles, NursingABC offers a delivery method that fits those students' schedules and makes more achievable their academic goals.
Nature of Learning Processes:
NursingABC offers a systematic academic program based on a foundation of excellent, understandable content, which is administered in a self-paced online or correspondence study format. This delivery method allows students the flexibility of beginning courses in a time frame that meets their needs, as well as completing those courses at a pace that meshes with the confines of their diverse schedules -- including the option of accelerated learning, if a student so desires. NursingABC offers readily-available assistance in the form of personal, individualized, patient tutoring -- in order to help even the least experienced students realize and attain a level of confident success.
Nature of Relationships:
NursingABC commits to respecting students and their goals; our administration and instructors care that our students learn the material well and achieve success. Because our goals are service-oriented in nature, we maintain an "open-door" policy between students and instructors. Students are free to contact their instructors via e-mail (at any time) or phone (within reasonably established time periods) to request and receive assistance related to their course of study. Instructors are diligent to maintain rapport with students through prompt, pleasant service that helps to build students' confidence and ensure their comfort in asking for further assistance, when necessary.
Relationships between NursingABC faculty and staff members are critical to our mission, as these individuals are the backbone of the program's success. Staff members strive to maintain healthy and friendly personal relationships that foster enthusiasm for the common goal of educating students in a quality fashion. NursingABC strives to generate a contented working environment by communicating that each staff member is essential to the successful operation of the program -- through timely staff news updates and frequent requests for staff input regarding program mission, goals, and current and future objectives.
Because NursingABC desires to positively impact the field of nursing through the training of students, we place a high priority on our relationship with participating schools and organizations. In an effort to serve these institutions, NursingABC surveys the individual and collective needs of their programs and responds to those needs via improvements and additions to our curriculum, as well as the development of instructional tools and services which are made available for the nursing schools' use. This close partnership allows us to assist these schools in recognizing and addressing the distinct needs of their applicants and future students in continuously improving ways.
Every human being has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. We find great satisfaction in seeing our students succeed and sharing their excitement about their achievements. NursingABC administration, staff, and faculty members seek to treat all individuals (students, nursing school representatives, etc) with humility and regard. We will not sacrifice upright treatment of individuals or other organizations for esteem or financial gain.
The central motivating factor that drives NursingABC is a concern for the welfare of our students. We respect the educational and career goals of our students; our goal is to educationally prepare these students, helping them to discover the confidence to reach their potential and positively impact the medical community.
Because many of our students currently are employed full-time and/or have been removed from the academic community for an extended time, we realize the necessity of being sensitive to the uniqueness of their situations. In an effort to train these non-traditional students and build their confidence for the schooling ahead of them, we commit to developing and maintaining delivery methods and services that effectively meet these students' needs.
At the foundation of NursingABC's commitment to students rests the practice of striving for excellence. We aim to maintain this essential quality throughout our program, including the following: a) thorough and understandable curriculum, specifically geared to meet the needs and address the academic level of nursing school applicants; b) committed and qualified personnel, chosen to maintain a faculty-to-student ratio that ensures each student's ability to receive a quality education through our courses; c) courteous and individualized tutoring available to each student; d) prompt service; and e) reasonable cost.
NursingABC is established upon the fundamental principle of service, evident in our commitment to personalized help and tutoring. We are devoted to developing the capacity to effectively serve thousands of students simultaneously, without sacrificing the quality of instruction. The top priority of NursingABC is to continue to provide effective, personal, one-on-one instruction to any student that requires assistance.
We recognize our responsibility to the nursing community and, thus, hold as a high priority our commitment to effectively serving and partnering with nursing schools and other institutions. Because we desire that NursingABC's impact upon the medical community be productive and positive, and in response to the reality that well-prepared applicants are essential to schools' success, we will continue to pursue new ways to assist these schools and adapt our programs and services to meet their needs.
Improving the quality of education offered by NursingABC is and will continue to be one of our highest priorities. This commitment will be evidenced by administrative oversight and action, including the following: a) evaluation of program quality, identification of problem areas, and periodic improvement planning; b) development of additional courses and subject areas, as deemed necessary, each by a qualified curriculum writer in the applicable field of study; c) responsiveness to changes in nursing practices and higher education requirements, evidenced by updates and enhancements to NursingABC curriculum and services; d) advances in technology and methods of delivering course instruction; and e) implementation of formal means by which students and schools can have input into program development, thus affecting changes to the NursingABC program based on needs identified in the nursing community.
Because NursingABC values the impact of its faculty and staff in relation to overall program success, we will seek to continually evaluate faculty and staff performance through course and individual instructor evaluations. In addition, NursingABC will conduct hiring practices that encourage the addition of qualified faculty and staff whose goals align with our mission of service and excellence.
NursingABC will strategically consider and actively pursue appropriate growth of our programs, in order to make our services available to a greater and more diverse population of students. We will seek and maintain partnerships with nursing schools and other organizations that allow an increased ability to offer NursingABC programs to students who will benefit from them. In addition, as resources allow, we will target students with outstanding needs by contacting organizations (career counseling centers, vocational rehabilitation agencies, etc) that assist students who encounter financial and career path struggles.
In order to make the NursingABC program accessible to this greater and more diverse population of students, we will formalize and maintain updated means of communication. These will include program information brochures and advertisements, registration materials, handbooks, course-related communication with students, evaluations, surveys, and the NursingABC web site.
